The Technion (and BizTEC) is a leading player in the academic entrepreneurship world!

A world-wide report that ranked the top 50 universities that produced the most VC-backed entrepreneurs was published lately, and revealed that the Technion is ranked 16th in the world, regarding the number of entrepreneurs graduated from the institute. This is a huge accomplishment, as you can notice that the Technion is the second university in the ranking that is located outside the USA, following only Tel Aviv University that is ranked in the 9th place in the world!

A lot of the Technion’s entrepreneurs grew up in BizTEC. As the report shows, Gusto – a company that was founded by BizTEC alumna Tomer London – is one of the top 5 companies that were founded by Technion’s graduates, according to the amount they’ve raised.
